Life during the COVID-19 pandemic was a difficult time for the entire world as everyone battled the unknown. In the midst of this overwhelming uncertainty, my young children, Carter and Charlotte, had their lives put on pause during crucial years of growth and discovery.
As the world grappled with the relentless grip of the pandemic, my family and I made it our mission to transform our humble abode into a sanctuary of hope and solace for our little ones. With a lot of determination, we did everything in our power to keep our home filled with excitement and enrichment.
It became a labor of love to find new activities and ways to make our home as entertaining as the outside world. The once mundane backyard became an oasis of laughter and warmth, adorned with a brand-new hot tub, a back patio inviting moments of togetherness and a vibrant playscape that echoed with their gleeful laughter.
Despite the efforts I made to help them through this time, I still feared how those two long years would affect them. They were missing important milestones that were meant to be the very foundation of their future selves. The social outings that many kids start during these years were held off. It was nerve-wracking wondering how they would adjust to simple things like going to dinner after all this time being home.
As difficult as this period was, there was a silver lining. I have a newfound appreciation for connection, spending time with family and the priceless gift of being together.
As the pandemic slowed down, it became my mission to get my kids out into the world again and back on track. It's a constant goal to nurture their social skills and help them create lasting memories in hopes of replacing the experiences they missed during those two long years. As a parent, they are supposed to learn from me, but what they have taught me through this experience is invaluable. Their resilience and enthusiasm for life remind me, even through hard times, of the many things I have to be thankful for.
As you can see, my children are my number one motivation in life. When I was growing up, my grandmother lived for her grandkids. As the youngest in our family for 14 years, she placed a lot of her attention on me, and I didn't know any different. I strive to emulate my grandmother's selflessness, pouring my heart and soul into raising my kids.
At the end of the day, we all want what is best for our family. Drawing upon my background in banking, I began my career in real estate in 2015 and quickly fell in love with the personal and impactful role I played in helping families achieve their goals.
With every family that found solace within the walls of their new home or successfully sold their home to start a new chapter, I felt a sense of purpose. The relationships I cultivated, the wisdom I gleaned from mentors and the triumphs I shared with clients have molded me into the real estate professional I am today.
The empathy, care and communication skills that I developed through being a father have only made me a better REALTOR®. Through the power of real estate, I am able to merge my love for my children with my passion for helping others, creating a fulfilling and balanced life that brings joy and stability to both my family and those I serve. When I am not working, I enjoy watching my children play at the park and going to the beach when I get the chance!
Beginning my career in new construction, I found a true passion for helping people select their dream homes. It is more than finishes and layouts; it is finding the place where you can envision your family and friends coming together. In 2019 I began working in resale and have been ever since. Whether helping buyers or sellers, I am dedicated to making the most of our interactions. By listening attentively and being present and empathetic as we work together, we are not just achieving your goals, but establishing a lifelong relationship.
One of my favorite aspects of what I do is providing assistance and guidance to individuals as they take their next step, whatever that may mean to them. It's truly rewarding to have my clients entrusting me with important matters in their lives. I take pride in offering advice and knowing that my clients have full control over how they choose to utilize that advice. While I can provide all the data in the world, ultimately, you are in control of your future, and I am here to support you.
